26 - 27 March 2020
Zell am See-Kaprun, Austria
Founder: Sarisher Mann
In September 2018, alongside her sustainable finance communications job at BNP Paribas in
London, Sarisher started a two year Masters programme in Sustainability Leadership at the
University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL). Being an economist by training, her research focussed on the circular economy as a lever for environmental sustainability. In addition to the academic studies at Cambridge, one of the tasks requires students to undertake a personal sustainability leadership challenge, where they progress sustainability in an area they care about.
Sarisher’s personal leadership project of merging her research interest in circular economy, with
her appreciation of nature and alpine sports has led to her creating the Sustainable Alpine
Tourism Initiative (SATI2020). Sarisher is also a Climate Reality Leader, trained by ex-US Vice President Al Gore, as well as a One Young World Ambassador.
